1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to all agreements, advocacy engagements, and orders between you (the “Client”) and Life Guard Wise (lifeguardwise.com), 210 Albert Street, Regina, SK, Canada (Business Number: 859-743-620).

2. Services Provided

Life Guard Wise provides legal and medical advocacy services for seniors, including power of attorney preparation, healthcare directive planning, guardianship support, and related counsel. The specific scope of services will be detailed in your individual engagement confirmation.

3. Agreement Formation

You may request services via our website contact form or by emailing contact@lifeguardwise.com. A binding agreement is formed when you receive our written confirmation.

4. Fees & Payment

All fees are quoted in CAD and exclude taxes. Payment terms (e.g., deposit, invoicing schedule) will be specified in your engagement confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are due within 14 days of issue.

5. Liability & Limitation

We provide professional advice and advocacy, but outcomes depend on factors beyond our control. Accordingly, we are not liable for decisions or results based on our services. Any liability for service defects is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Saskatchewan law.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, forms, and guidance documents provided remain the intellectual property of Life Guard Wise. You may not reproduce or distribute them without our prior written consent.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We aim for fairness and clarity. Our cancellation and refund terms are:

• More than 14 days before service start: 100% refund.
• 7–14 days before start: 50% refund to cover preparation costs.
• Less than 7 days before start: No refund available.

Processing time: Approved refunds are issued within 7 business days to your original payment method; banks may require additional processing time.

Partial services: If any documents or consultations have been delivered, those portions are non-refundable and will be deducted proportionally.

To request a refund, email contact@lifeguardwise.com with your engagement reference and payment details. We will respond within 5 business days.

8. Data Protection

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws (e.g., PIPEDA, provincial statutes).

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Regina, Saskatchewan.
